| As genealogists who
are involved in doing our own family research we always
felt that our resource pages should be free for anyone
and everyone to use. Unfortunately with the declining ad
market (resulting in us having to add even
MORE banners), bandwidth fees (causing
us to hold back some files and data), and
other costs associated with the maintenance of these
pages that we have to pay, the cost of maintaining this
site has been steadily going up. To help defray the costs of running this site and keep us from turning this site into a registered members only site and thus limiting the number of people having access to it, we'd like to try making it a "user supported" site, very much like shareware software. If you like, enjoy, and utilize this site and want to help keep it open for everyone, then please help support the site. We will leave it up to everyone to decide if they want to, and how much to contribute, but think of it in the same terms as shareware. The more support the author gets, the more they are able to accomplish. It is the same with us; the more support we receive, the more data will be updated and added.
