I started these webrings because during the hey-days of the old Webring.org I noticed that webrings pertaining to Ukrainian themes were missing. I began with the Ukrainians on the Web (for personal web pages of Ukrainians and pertaining to everything Ukrainian), then I expanded with Ukrainian Roots (created specifically for web pages pertaining to Ukrainian genealogy/family research). Now, there are numerous other Ukrainian webrings, but UkrWWW & Ukrainian Roots are still the premier ones. Before Yahoo swallowed up Webring.org and completely ruined the webring community, UkrWWW membership exceeded 300 sites; I'm in the process of trying to rebuild it. Also, I'm one of the remaining founders of the Ukrainian Genealogical Society.

I also maintain a web site that is devoted to Lighthouses (which I will be moving to a new site soon), along with managing a webring for lighthouse pages. Currently, the site contains lighthouses of NJ and Martha's Vineyard. But I will be updating those with additional information and pictures.

The other project that I am completely involved in is genealogy. Specifically, researching my own family history. I am in the process of researching the following surnames -

I have also established a web page called Family Historians where I am starting a project of gathering together all of the people that are currently researching the same surnames that we are.  I am doing this in order to be able to collaborate with others in sharing and exchanging stories and information about the the surnames that we have in common.

I'm also in the process of redesigning my philately site.
